Lindsey Boland, LCSW, Certified Synergetic Play Therapist

Lindsey is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist. Lindsey earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University with a Clinical Concentration in Violence Against Women and Children. She is originally from New Jersey but has lived in Colorado for the last five years and now calls Denver home.

Lindsey has worked in many different roles including in-home therapist, outpatient therapist, permanency caseworker and school-based social worker for children with serious emotional disabilities and extensive mental health needs. She knows how to help families navigate complicated systems and work with outside providers. She also provides ongoing coaching and support to caregivers and loved ones.

Lindsey’s therapeutic approach is holistic and based in mindfulness, authenticity, attachment, and psychoeducation on the brain and the nervous system. She has worked with children and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, chronic trauma, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing, OCD, PTSD and many other areas of need. Lindsey’s passion is working directly with youth and families and empowering them to be the best versions of themselves.

Andrea Davison, MA, Certified Synergetic Play Therapist

Andrea Davison is committed to working with families to progress toward their goals and live their values.  She supports clients by developing pivotal behaviors: regulation, attention, and communication to form the foundation for learning and connection. Andrea’s engaging approach is guided by her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and her ongoing work in both Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Synergetic Play Therapy.

She values collaborative teamwork – partnering with parents, caregivers, and other service providers.  Andrea incorporates children’s strengths & interests while addressing areas of growth through researched-based naturalistic play.  Andrea specializes in working with children with ASD (autism spectrum disorder), significant communication delays, multiple diagnoses, challenging behaviors, and sensory processing differences. She is fluent in American Sign Language and primarily communicates via ASL at home.

After working with families for over 20 years, Andrea enjoys bringing a beginner’s mind to each interaction.  As a recovering perfectionist, she appreciates practicing and modeling being human with others.  We all have areas we can grow and areas where we flourish.  Seeking an ally to partner with us as we progress in life opens us up to even greater possibilities and opportunities to thrive.

Matt Canale, MA, Certified Synergetic Play Therapist

Matt Canale is the founder of Finger to the Moon Counseling and a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist. He holds his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa University.  Matt comes from a body-centered, mindfulness based therapeutic lens, using an eclectic blend of therapeutic modalities including: Synergetic Play Therapy, Mindfulness based body centered psychotherapy, and EMDR to help clients expand their awareness and knowledge of self in order to grow.

Matt works with children and teens in a supportive and compassionate way; focusing on healing through mindfulness, body-awareness, and authenticity. He specializes in working with children suffering from anxiety, self-esteem issues, anger/behavioral issues, and high conflict divorce. Matt believes in a holistic approach to healing and has the ability to draw from past traumas and difficult experiences to relate with clients. He seeks to foster self-esteem, self-knowledge, and create a caring atmosphere for growth and self-development.

As an active member of jiu-jitsu and yoga communities, Matt understands the importance of developing the mind-body connection as an essential tool for healing.

Kelly Miller, LCSW, RPT/S, RYT-200

Kelly Miller is a healing therapist, inspiring teacher, dedicated supervisor and founder of Play Therapy Connection. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT/S), and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), she is constantly seeking and implementing the most cutting-edge research in the field to help heal children and adults.

Kelly was also the co-founder of Play Therapy i.n.c with her esteemed colleague Erin Bennetts. Kelly is a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist/Supervisor and a Level II EMDR practitioner, both of which guide most of her clinical work.
Kelly is passionate about working with children, teens, and adults from around the world to help them find their way back to themselves. Through therapy, supervision and teaching Kelly strives to be a guide in healing to make true transformation possible. As a self-described wounded healer, Kelly believes that within every challenge and pain there is opportunity for growth and abundance.

Kelly specializes in helping people connect with their own mind, body, and hearts natural healing power. Lauren Fishbein, MA, Certified Synergetic Play Therapist

Lauren Fishbein is a parent coach, healer and founder of LiLuna Counseling. She is also a Certified Synergetic Play Therapist and holds her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Mindfulness-based Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa University. Lauren sees through a body-based, trauma informed, neuroscience lens and recognizes that the mind-body connection is essential when it comes to healing and growth. Lauren believes in a holistic approach that promotes health from the inside out; this could look like conversations around brain health, nutrition or supplementation such as neurofeedback.

Lauren welcomes all kids into her play room and specializes in adoption and Early Childhood behavioral challenges (age 2-9). As an international, transracial adoptee Lauren deeply understands the wounds that come with adoption.

Lauren also offers online parent coaching and facilitates a 12-week educational series for those parents looking to transform their current reality into a more peaceful, balanced and connection-filled existence. Beaux Williams,  MSW, NLC

Beaux is a Registered Psychotherapist and founder of Paws n’ Play Processing. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver where she focused on Risks and Healthy Development in Children and Youth. Beaux has seven years of experience working with youth in a therapeutic setting and with children who are grieving from a death loss in both a peer group and individual setting.

Beaux is passionate about working with children and families impacted by trauma through the use of Synergetic Play Therapy. Beaux also has a Certificate in Animal Assisted Social Work and is currently training her chocolate poodle, Sofie, in animal-assisted interventions.

Sharlyn Francis, MA, Marketing & Administration

Sharlyn Francis earned her Master of Arts in Media and Communication after studying Advertising and Addiction Disorders as an undergraduate. After her newborn daughter spent two and a half weeks in the NICU, she became determined to get the word out about how Play Therapy can help heal children and families from the inside out.

Sharlyn spent the first four years of her marketing career in the retail sector and is thrilled to finally follow her passion to “help the helpers.”
